Metal Gear Solid 3

OK - I am a hardcore Metal Gear Solid fan, and haven't kept upto date with the series, for I only just realise this game was released. I'm definately going to buy it despite whatever is said in here, but I'd like to know what all your opinions are on the game... if anybody in here has played it.

I havnt played MGS 3 but i got MGS and it is the best game ever in my opinion. but the ps1 just didnt do it justis..
played MGS2 and got scared by its wierdness, but still a good game.
isnt MGS 3 set in some jungle some time before the zanzabar war?

MGS 2 was awesome, but was fucking weird I agree. This one is ment to be more steamline, less story/plot, more gameplay...

It's basicly aimed as a plot hole filler...

So we've got another 3 year wait before we have a chance to have the HUGE cliffhanger MSG 2 left us on resolved.

And yes, MGS is the greatest game ever... but way to short...

WTH 3 years, i saw in a mag like 2 years ago that they had begun work on, for 3 years in the making it would want too be good.

I just ment that it took 3 years for the next one to come out, I'm not suer how long of the 3 years they actually spent working on it

apparantly its called MGS3 snake eater if you didn't know and when you eat snkes you aquire different skills? It might be BS I read it in a magazine but I have seen a trailer and it looks pretty cool

i couldnt agree more, it was one of the best stealth FPS's released back when it first came out. but i still think the 1st one was better than the second, shitter graphics but better gameplay, plot etc. etc
