I should mention that it only has 4meg of ram on it, don't think it supported 32bit colour either (only 24bit)

There's actually no such thing as 32 bit color in the final 2d image .. 32 bit colour mode (as reported by the control panel) is really just padded 24 bit 888RGB because it's much faster to work with 32 bit numbers than to pack a whole bunch of 24 bit numbers into 32 bit wide memory slots (splitting em up and shit)

the cacluations performed as part of the 3d acceleration is another story though. but even then the final result is a padded 24 bit 888 RGB image

well i think we can all understand that, on a differnt note i picked up an origenal Creative Riva/TNT 2 32mb & a Hercules Fortismo II EAX 2 complient sound card for only $13 :D thought it wasent bad myself for spare parts
