better than any over ear headphones I ever used!

better bass (more defined), amazing treble, excellent midrange, cuts out externel sound something amazing..
extremely comfortable (can forget your wearing them)
distortiion... don;t think its possible, my audigy, notebook, nor ipod can pump enough power into it for it to even think about distortion!

admitadly, it has one netrual and two bad points, but that is all!

neurtral, it took 3 or 4 hours before they broke in, headphones that need breking in, wow :p

all your <192 encoded or bad source music sounds like shit, because these are so damned clear, they pick up any fault... even those 128bit I thought were cool, just sound old school 'record player' compared to good audio now..

sif sony make good headphones. I suppose there alright, but Sennheiser, now theres some good quality headphones

nah, there inear is about as good as the koss stuff.

maybe not even that good.

I take it you are talking about the PX10, cos there the only ones I know of.

and I have a pair of koss 'the plug', these ex71s, and before getting these listened to the ex52, px10, apple's, and the panasonic.
and the sony left them all for dead (as usual for sony, slightly less bass), but once boosted is clearer, more defined, and much more punch.

the koss have bad midrange and buggerall top
the sennheiser have a 'mashy' top end..
and panasonic were nothing above normal headphones.

sony really fuck their name around by having shit car speakers, shit house speakers, chucking shit headphones in with all their products, and not having any good over-ear headphones for <150, which still arn;t as good as the koss and sennheiser gear for the same value.

ahh ok i was just referring to headphones in general but i suppose sony is not to bad at the inear stuff. Personally i can't stand them, but to each there own...

there good for work...
can wear beanies, can wear earmuffs if needed and not have them fall out.
and they don't hurt yer ears after long time usage as normal earplugs do.
tho the koss are a different story, I think I've put up with a lot of sore ear just to listen to sound with those :)

and these are plenty goodenough, I was going to go buy a pair of koss over-ear headphones, but I'm happy with these, they block sound heaps wellenough, well, they cost that much they should!
