Microsoft is going 2 announce its project Xbox 2 to the world @ the next E3. Xbox 2 is dominating @ best

wat i mean is that next generation of home entertainment there doin DIY graphix chips and mainboards, and now inclduing HDTV support and making it the centre of your home theatre, with such features as TV Recording, Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound, inbuilt DVD player (not as in Xbox 1 where u need 2 buy a dvd playback kit).

But only downside it is using a Windows NT Kernal to support the OS, (knowing NT is going 2 unstable) and with profit losses because of Xbox Modding, which enables 2 copy games 2 the harddrive, microsoft are inpleting New Piracy Protection into their motherboads so that specific models of hardware will only work on there mainboard (but no doubt this will be bypassed. Luv dem modders).

They pissed off Nvidia, and have decided to make there own grpahix chip, so you'll be lookin @ the l8est in 3d technology. (Yeah Right).

And are impleting PC to Xbox Lan Gaming, so you can play games between the Computer and ure Xbox 2 Console. (Very Kewl!!)

Joshu thinks Joshu'll hook up a rig to his TV if he wants to play DVDs with surround sound, etc. Xboxes might be awesome cool, but computars are awesomecooler.

If Xbox2 manages to innovate with better USB-based devices (such as a custom Nostromo Speedpad, for instance) than gaming, then maybe consoles will become worth something for playing FPSs.


I still won't buy it :D no competition, a monopoly on a system. I can get a gaming rig for cheaper because it's got competition. Thoughts?

Dude. I have installed xp pro (as in, whore) 5 fucking times on this one machine. No over clocking, no bell or wistles. nothing. p4 1.5. i never opened the box ot fuck with it. using real xp disc. boot using cd. goes to install, checks HDD n all that crap. gets to the setup screen

fine. 5 fucking times. no scratches. they really wanted xp on this machine, so they went and got the copy off their relo down the road. Again, this was a REAL CD with no dirty arsed big scratches.

I, after much cursing and swearing, install xp. everything is in a diffent fucking places for no particular reason. fuck it. it falls over if i dont have the right drivers of for everything. well fuck you too. i learn to hate this version of dos with boxes too.

why is it that there is a million different installs of XP around?
