BF:V vs Joint Ops

Ok guys! I'm putting it to a poll, sounds like people wanna keep good old COD and do away with BF:V and all it's gayness :P (Sorry Damo, I still love ya mate ;) ). So it's up to you guys, are we going to scrap BF:V instead of COD for Joint Ops?

I reckon JOTR beats out BF:V by a fair bit.

I think it's just the feeling of extra teamwork that's in Joint Ops than in BF:V, because nobody ever spots for artillery/etc. in Battlefield ('cept my doggy-trained little brother :D god bless him), but people are way more likely to spot for mortar fire in Joint Ops.

Yes! We are waiting for NFSU:2 then we are having a official comp again! There is still the "Virus Challenge" which is mainly for drift and drag me thinks! Well I have to get the trophies ordered now, and by the looks of it BF:V is taking a back seat this LAN and making way for the awesomeness that is Joint Ops! Done and Done! Don't worry, there's always another LAN ;) After playing Joint Ops on a large scale you'll forget all about that Battlefield thingo, just ask Eoin!

The one huge gripe I have with Joint Ops is that it implemented 150-player online play, and restricted LAN play to 64 players in a game! There's probably a good reason (reason probably being that the Gamespy LAN engine smells?), but it sort of sucks. I so want the whole of a LAN in one game.:(

i agree john, with middleweights you don't get all the retarded robot that some (all) people make that are nothing like they are sposed to be.
with middles you have to have a think about what you want your robot to do and focus on that.
not just stick heaps of spinny blades on it, that shit is the gayest!!

I have to say... Joint Ops is the most exciting game I have played in ages. Exciting from a gamers point of view, and very exciting for some guy that was stupid enough to start a lan's point of view. It's clean, precise, not sloppy like bf, and very sexy. It's going to go off! Oh yeah!

The thing that BF has over Joint Ops, is bot support with multiplayer.

Although JO does have Cooperative mode...

That's right, I don't have friends and other people to practise with. I occasionally one-on-one my brother, but it's not as fun as one-on-oneing him with a bunch of bots erratically driving jets dropping napalm on friendlies.

Considering there are bots in training, they could've made the effort! Who else am I going to practise against?

Fuck Joint Ops is soooo much like Operation Flashpoint in game play it almost made me cry i fucking love the game! However i must say that COD is boring and i just cant be fucked playing it anymore, i reckon Veitnam needs some time in the spot light.
