I stress again..please try to borrow a legit copy or buy the game. It makes it alot easier as last lan.. most ppl had their own versions of cracks/patches installed which delayed the comp for ages while i manually checked everyones pcs and gave them a cd i made with the correct patchs/cracks.

Getting CD-Keys for the game is ur own problem..This might be a charity lan but i like to have some decency when it comes to games haha :)

I will have downgraded patchs/nocd-cracks/for all mods Just incase the new 1.45 patch has too many problems

Depending on the amount of teams the format of the competition will be decided.

Scoring will be the same as last time. (Scores from each side (allies/axis) combined) [Dont remember exactly as i was doing 10 things at once]

Map choices will be decided by myself on the day. I will give a selection of a few maps. (pacific maps generally) which a coin will be tossed by the two opposing captains. Winner choose the map and loser chooses which side to go first.

Priority is desert combat then BF1942 pure.

If you guys wanna play Galactic conquest for a war.. I will set one up "IF" there is enough people..and griphonix doesn't shit me to tears like last lan where i got fuck all sleep!

my standpoint on gaming is this..

all you need is at least 512 mb ram with any xp system.
u need at least a 1.3 ghz processor
a nice fast drive helps.
a sweet gfx card. anything above a 4200 will do currently
and finaly..
GET YOURSELF A MONITOR THAT CAN DO 100HZ 800X600 .

pffft... sif need frames when u only updating @ 60 hz...

32bit gets more fps (as far as I can tell) than 16 bit

rattus don't show your n00bish ignorance, cpu time to ai is fixed at a max of 25%, ai skill is different, everyone plays with an ai skill of 100%. cpu time to ai is a performace thing- it gives them a quarter of the processor’s power just for ai. Having it high makes the game lag but doesn’t really change the bots themselves (just ups response times etc)

And for those GeForce2/3/4/FX users: Know that usually, NVidia cards run better at 1024x768 than at 640x480. Native modes, and shit.

...however, you'd probably need 1.3GHz if you wanted to play with a lot of bots (pah! 'sif.)

agreed, my rig runs everything just fine, and i have seen joshus machine run and it does fine, besides when it comes to framerates, its ur GfX card thats the factor, not ur cpu.... Just haveing a 2.4B helps sometimes... :)

Dragon my case cost me about $415 but it is worth it. There is no screws needed to any of your hard ware all quick release. The only screw are the thumb screws int he back. 7 fans and all the fans have filters for ctah ing dust ndlint soyour not sucking shit into your box andmaking it dusty!! Brilliantly designed case. Event ehway the HDD;s slot in with the as end facingout to you is awesome. Best designed case I have ever seen
