I belive a Farcry comp will ownly be good if its team based. The maps are 2 small for an out right death match. i think 5v5 on a capture the flag map. Ill get that Dual p3 machine ready for it if u want Kyzen i got some sweat maps.

yea mayne, farcry was a fantastic game, even if it was just the admins playing at X10.

a comp with the map we played where we had to capture the base and then then airport and helipad would be great for a comp.

it would great also for dave to show off all his skill in the game, afetr playing it ALL weekend at 10.

yea as for farcry, the game has a lot of potentional. playing the single player over the last couple of days, its just a great game, and as for people not being able to run it, u can run it! it might not look as good as dave with his r 9700pro (damn him to hell!) but the multiplayer was fucking off the hessie when it was just the admin table playing it, with rockets and snipers and the degal's drilling people.. that and those bloody patrol boats..... damn you suddy!

My puter shits itself with Far Cry multiplayer! I was running it 800 x 600, lowest detail, and it ran crap. Single player, it runs fine with 1024 x 768 with medium details.

'Tis an Athlon 1800 with 512MB SD RAM and a Geforce 4 Ti4200... Shouldn't it run nicer? I mean, it's certainly not a beasty puter, but god damn it runs farked!

well my machine runs farcry multi and single fine at high, and nuts on med.

if have a p4 2.4c, gforceTI 4200 128meg, 512 333DDR

and it runs just fine you just need to remember to turn the AA down a bit. other wise the game trys to run to many textures at once.

it may look sexy but it runs like a slide show.

Yea you need good specs to run the game and have it looking like tikkity grouse, but so long as you can run the game its worth having an install.

the small server that was ran at 11 was fucking great fun. people just running around with pistols, cvt in the tower sniping people. me and kenny on the bloody island and we kept spawning next to each other when we got killed. Suddy in that boat and everyone getting that fucking rocket launcher!

Want a tissue? I've seen it run at >30fps on a Ti4200. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but GF4's are DX8 compatible, not DX9.
