In this age of silicon chips and... monitors and such, there's no use for a term such as geek or nerd. Everybody pretty much needs to use computers, some people quite a lot, and they have become a viable alternative to television or other sedentary leisure activities. You'd be better served coming up with a term for people that are afraid of/dislike using computers.

That said, some people are just fucking NERDS.

Actually, I'm guessing I know less than 90% of people on this board about computers. I couldn't put one together, or fix all but the more basic problems, and I failed my programming units in first year when I attempted an IT course.

I still use the PC a fair bit and don't mind at all if someone wants to call me a nerd. Not from a damn holier-than-thou perspective though cos then I'll fuck them up. ;)
