We've been holding LANs for 6 years now, and believe it or not, this will be our 20th LAN Of The Damned event. Due to this we're hoping to make it our best event to date, including more prizes than ever before. The event will be held March 28th 12pm - March 29th 2pm, once more at the Warrnambool College Hall (http://lanotd.viclan.org.au/images/WarrnamboolCollegeMap.jpg ) in Grafton Road Warrnambool. So far we have sponsorship from Thermaltake (http://www.thermaltake.com.au), South West TAFE (http://www.swtafe.vic.edu.au) and AMD (http://game.amd.com), but there's sure to be more coming.

Normally we would go for CoD 5, but the LANers all seem to be sick of the CoD series.

The prize pool has grown with the addition of some more sponsors. Crucial (http://www.crucial.com) have sent us a bunch of stuff including a 2 gig DDR2 kit and some of their cool foam hawgs. Superbilling have provided some vouchers to their store to give away. And Gigasoft IT Solutions have also pitched in a 2 gig RAM kit :)

Wait, no CoD? A LAN with no CoD? CoD:WaW I can understand because it's terrible, but no 2 or 4?

We've had CoD in one form or another as a comp at many of our past LANs, but people here seem to be over it. Could have something to do with them churning them out so quickly. I think we've got one guy who wants to play the original CoD, but that's it lol. I'm sure CoD 5 will be played at the LAN, but no one seems in favour of having it as a comp.

Thats a very odd lan... CoD 4 seems to be a staple diet at every lan, every multiplayer thing I've played since it came out...

You'll be happy to know we've decided to hell with the LANers, they can't seem to decide what they want. We're just gona run CoD 4 after all.
