new computer, am i buying the right stuff?

Aight so i thought ill see you all before i pick this stuff up on friday,

Is this the right choices for my new computer i pick up on friday.

mobo - xfx 780i sli motherboard
cpu - Q9550
ram - 4gb kingston hyper x pc8500
hd - 80gb but 1tb external new hd
dvd burner
gpu - gtx260 video card.
case - antec twelve hundred case.

do you intend to run sli? If not get an intel board, and actual intel board, rest is fine.

yeah will eventualy have it on tri sli with 3 gtx260's, as im a graphic designer i found out with cs4 it will be relying on graphic cards not cpu or ram now,

id also recommend maybe raid 1 setup in future so you dont risk loosing any of ur data even though u may be backing it up on the external if ur doin proper design it be a good idea

well i actually won the case allready so cant pick another. haha it was the prize from a EVGA america design competition.

so does that mean i should get 3 instead?

kall if you're fucking around with rendering and photoshop and shit and heaps on this pc it might be worth installing a 64bit os and lumping up on the ram, depending exactly on what you do i guess.

andddd it has shit all power outputs, so i cant even plug fans in on the case. :S

ill take it back into super billings tomo and get em to fix it and put it all together.... argggggg

hey bro, the gtx260 is a schmick as vid card, i just got one. cant even imagine how 3 of them would go :O
i picked up a 1tb HDD for 165 moneys, i think 500gb ones are 85, no point in goin anything less.
