SWAT4 - if GUF have it.
UT2K4 - ONS or CTF
COD2 - SD, CTF or TDM
CSS - whatever shit mode it is


Novelty comp will be WII TENNIS DOUBLES - had a huge turnout last LAN.
And Decider will be QUAKE3 as usual.

We need 2 games as clear winners for the comps.

I really hope that people will agree on perhaps altering the lan to fit in another comp so we can play Swat, ut2k4, cod2 and Quake3. It would be unfortunate to see any of these games miss out. Maybe it would work if UT2k4 was a novelty (of sorts) that didnt count towards the golden mouse trophy.

why is CSS so hated? i think i asked this previous to the last lanx. and i think the only answers i got consisted of being called a "feigit" or some other leet-spelt names.. i fucking love CSS, it's quick, fun and easy to get into.

i've been playing cod/cod2 for years and it's the only game we play when we have mates lans (mind you seeing as how we now have them at guf we play css as well). i started playing css because i got big into a game called warrock. it was a beta f2p, but only US servers. they closed non-US access to the servers and i was left with a whole lot of nothingness with the game i liked playing. after showing my mate "the_balance" warrock, he mentioned it looked similar to CSS, so i immediately had to buy CSS! it was really frustrating at first because i hadn't learnt the game, but now i love it.

lately cod2 frustrates the labia out of me! try to connect to servers bzzt! wait 15 mins to download some stupid mod, or map, or add-on, or whatever... i don't think so.. last night i jumped into cod2 to get some practise up for the weekend and didn't even get to play a game... I connected to a server, got one shot in, died, game ended.. ok server changes maps - no worries.... server changes maps and game starts... oh, the admin doesn't like this map, so he changes to another map... in about 7 - 10 minutes i have managed to get 1 shot off. and i'm thinking "i could have kill 15 people in css by now..." fine ok, i will just find another server... try tog au1, full. try a tub server 20mins to download some shitty add-on. fuck this, i'm playing css... am i too impatient, am i doing something wrong? i love cod2 and have for years, but playing online irritates me!

No arguements from me - I was suprised I qualified for the comp! Luckily HarryNutsack aka the_balance, was playing like a wet loaf of bread, so I got in! I didn't think I was last. But like anything, there's always someone better - I'm not really that good at games, I just like having a sweet computer and playing them.

I think i just figured out what you guys were talking about, we put pam mod on the server to get rid of dust on matmata, this is a server side mod and as such can only be used by the server, i know at least 1 person was confused and thought I had a mod to remove the dust, he asked me about it and i told him about how it was server side. If this is what you ppl are talking about i find it hillerius as PAM is the official mod by gamearena and all comps use it
