a question about the lan nazi

hey is anyone having problems with vista and the nazi?

at a recent lanotd it wouldn't allow me back onto the network after a restart and also i couldn't see any of the game servers.

if you were assigned an IP in the right domain, it wasn't a problem with the nazi.

well i cant say it was a problem with the nazi just a issue with vista as i wasnt the only one having the problems.

maybe dave might know a little more - but doesnt vista use IPv6 or something?

But still if you were auth'ed ok then that should be ok - plus UAC may have been stuffing you around - plus - dare i say it - windows firewall?

Maybe Vista clients automatically deactivated for generating worm-like activity. Who knows. Did the LOTD guys take down details, get in touch with Dave, etc etc? Helps if they did.

Frosty's right too, you're very vague, but I suppose at least you've alerted somebody, somewhere, to a problem.

seriously, if you want less problems, don't use vista.... very little support and little knowlege of the OS. there's a known issue with joining Vista machines to domains, that may or may not have anything to do with the problems your experiencing, who knows?
