Hey im trying to get my clan interested to come to the next X and own in cod2, and am just wondering any chance of changing the gametype to Search & Destroy, aka SD.
What do you guys think?

hey frosty, im on cod2 almost every night atm, i just havent been playing in ga servers, i game a lot in the tog au1 sd server.
As for my clan owning everyone its a bunch of drunks (hense why i joined) so we would probably all be passed out in time for cod comp anyway :)

Just play whatevers there, its all good. If you don't like the comp gametype, theres lots of people who will love to play it any other mode anyway, just a game after all :P Cod2's probably the most popular one out there still, so the more the merrier whatever we play

Would be great to see some clan people join in at a lanx though, some of them out there are pretty good blokes. ClanBM is mostly ballarat for example, so thats cool. Even so, with most clans their national, but if theirs a decent internet at the lan they can usually jump in games or you join in with other players.

LANX isn't going "back to normal", from now on there's going to be the kiddies table at GUF and us golden oldies at the BEND. Why the fuck would I got back to a situation where we couldn't get pissed and enjoy ourselves, that's just plain retarded, I'm not baby sitting ever again! All the X crew are in our mid 20's and it's just a tad weird for us to be hanging around with under 18's.

But yeah, even pissed, and with one hand tied behind our back, we have enough skills to smash the kiddies (when they're not crying about what game type we've chosen). Hopefully next time there will be more games to choose from at GUF, and there will also be the super secret surprise for you young dudes, oh it's on!

Blackmech are you in TOG? I play the TOG servers (mainly au1, 2 is too customised and my cod2 freezes on map change, i dunno why..but it shits me)

OK, I have this issue when I play online - When servers change maps and my PC loads the map CoD2 freezes almost everytime and I have to cuntroll+alt+del and kill the game... Then restart the game and join the map.. So in the end I just play CS.

Anyone got any (non smart arse) ideas? :cuddle

am going to try resinstalling the game, but wanted to see if anyone else had the issue.. strong suspicion that a mod or something that loaded in when i connected to a server has stuffed it.. i blame TOG AU2... but i need to fix it.. when i play CoD2, i keep pressing B when the game starts.......i know it's wrong....

hey bex, do you use xfire, that is the reason i cant load maps :(
the stupid thing is i had the version that wa causing the problem but i didnt have anything go wrong the xfire guys released a patch to stop the crashing and now i crash :(
