What's going to happen is that we'll have 3 comps, you guys will choose one, we'll choose one, and Q3 will be the third. Once our seperate comps are finished, our repective winning teams will play each other over our sexy link in a best of 3 finals series :) Winning this will get you 1 point! Why is this important? Because which ever venue get's 2 or more points... will win the GOLDEN MOUSE! Yes, it's made it's return! I'm having a new plate made for it, and the winning venue will be able to have it on show until the next event :) So have a think about what game you want to play, and get back to us!

Doesn't matter, you pick one, we pick one, and quake on Sundays, we'll flip to see which comp is played first on saturday :)

Oh btw, I've talked to Andrew @ the bended and you're all invited to come have a bbq with us on Sunday @ the bended :) You may even be allowed up stairs for a looksee :) Then you's can bugger off so we can play the quake comp after bbq and beers ;)

and novelty comps are better on consoles and more of a surprise the only novelty comp thats been on pc that i think worked good was Robot Arena 2

I'd say 10~20ms if that :) When I was on cable I would ping melb servers around 30~40ms, and guf is only 300m's away not 100k's :P

Just posted the time table, that's the format we're looking at :) We'll sort out what games were playing in the first 2 hours, then run out own comps, then have the finals over the vpn :)
