ok, i'm having some FUCKING GAY FUCK SHIT problems installing php and integrating it with apache.
i've attached the error i keep getting, and the apache config file (rename it to httpd.conf it is currently httpd.conf.txt). if you know what you're doing, it would be awesome to get your help - i can't find anything on the net that is fixing the problem...
apache directory is: C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\
php directory is: C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\php
Cheers guys!

I've never installed apache on windows, but it seems pretty clear that it can't find that dll. Tripple check the path to that file .. find the real path to that .dll and stick it in there. It must be wrong. Also, not sure that all those LoadModule xyz.so are right - the .so files are like dlls for linux.
Also, looking at your conf file,
Action application/x-httpd-php "C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/php/php.exe "
ScriptAlias /php/ "C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/php/"
shouldn't be in the middle of the <IfModule log_config_module> block, possibly put them in their own <IfModule php5_module> or just take them out of an IfModule and have them on their own.
You should probably try to find a 'WAMP' package for windows, which will install apache mysql and php in a way that lets the various parts play nicely. try some of these:

the other thing you could do is grab some old hardware and throw a linux box together. ubuntu makes a good choice.
or even use vmware.
If you are doing php dev, ensure that the php.ini settings on your dev server match those on the production server.
