1920x1200, my x800xtpe (agp) did it perfect, but my gameplay on pc these days is pretty much nil.
atm I'm running a x850pro (pci-e), if I ever become a pc gamer again, I'd probably start hunting around for a x1900, the x850 does handle most of the games I tried, but ya can forget about any level of AA, and the next gen of engines is gonna make it fart and die.

it doesn't take as much as yed think, but does take a hell of a lot more than normal 1280 low res gaming.

EDIT: Joshu, 1920x1200 = 24" lcd, 1600x1200 = 19" crt

video full screen on crt and game full screen on lcd works fine.
