we should organise an xbox lan of some make, kuz id love to, and i know a fuckload of people that are into xbox's, and modding xboxs. only bad thing is that ive spent a good $335 on my xbox, and im aboot to spend like another $80 tomorw...yeah i have a point in life, MODDING CONSOLES.

but i was thinking of running them inbetween x's.

just suggest some games man, i really want to know what people want to play,
cause thats what the tournaments will be.
and i was hoping to have cash prizes.
say 10-15 bux entry and 2-5 bux for each comp.

so popular comps are 5 bux so its big money and less popular are 2 bux to play.
but i just need suggestion and what you guys want.
and then i'll work it all out.

Yeah man, doom 3 would go off tap.

If def jam can be played networked thatd be sick. but yeah ,most likely doom3, halo2, DUB3 if its networking, dunno.

yeah I know where to get them chipped and to install your HD. thing is, XBOX bios can only handle a 120 gig HD maximum. and before you get them chipped, get your HD.
the other thing with console modding is the more money you spend, the better you'll get. I got myself a HD with an 8mb cache, games rip faster.

You can also update your DVD drive, its probably bet to get a thompson but it dosn't matter. its just a matter of plug and play, while if you get a HD, you have to partition it properly (hence why you just pay to get the chip put in and your hd partitiond.)

the only downside is the whole procedure is damn costly. :(

In def jam, single player, theres shitloads of trophies for stuff you do. for instance, if you spend $200,000 on jewelry, you get an trophie, "bling king"

theres trophies for like, beating the first ten gighters in under half a minute..
