That is correct gentlemen and gentlemen! LANX has found it's new home! We have found a venue
that will allow us to run the event's like the good old days! From now on we'll be in the Dining Room
at St Pats! Being a dining room, guess what, YOU'LL BE ABLE TO BRING YA SNACKS AGAIN! It also
has a wall mounted constant boily water thing, this means the return of FREE TEA AND COFFEE!!!
I don't know about you guys, but not being able to sit at my computer on Friday night and chilling out
with a war brew was killing me! You guys weren't the only ones suffering, me and spot are avid
tea drinkers, we don't function very well without it!
We have also changed the frequency back to 6 weeks, 3 months was a hella long time! Didn't realise
it was going to drag out so much! I got stir crazy waiting for it!
So hopefully these changes bring in a new era of awesomeness for LANX, getting back to basics!
Not sure what's going to be happening with the food situation at the new venue, was thinking of going
back to the good old LANX BBQ on Saturday night, and winging the rest. I'll have a chat to our glorious
caterer and discuss our options!

is there anyword on limited net acess. so we can finally get steam based games running. that seem to need a net connection to start a lan game. could finally get some HL2 DM going or the newly releaced DOD:source

I'll see if net is available, we just have had some VERY bad experiances in the past, so not too keen!
This is going to be such a relief! I got sick of saying "no food or drinks!", I started to sound like my mum!
We will be able to chill out once again, and really get back to the gaming!

Think of it as a study break! If you need to cram you don't deserve to be at school :P I did specialist, methods, physics, they're piss easy, I always had a few drinks before I did an exam, helps relax you and the answers come quicker. I do mean A FEW too, not get mega pissed, just a couple of shots :)

Hell no, very reasonable, we really couldn't sustain ourselves at Damascus with the cost of the venue and the attendance :( Tis a shame cause I did enjoy having shots on the bball court! There is a outdoor bball court close to our room, I'll have to play good old street ball! FROM THE STREETS! Last time I played on an ourdoor court was the last time I played ball from memory! Damn that Eoin and his size a billion feet! I came down on one of those puppies and busted my ankle pretty good!
At least now though I maybe able to, one day in the next... 10 years or so... recoup the money that I spent on this server! Noticed that the donations have died! :dead Either way, I've got an awesome $1000 paperweight! :) You should see the quality of the papers it stops from blowing away! My word it does a good job!

Hopefully this is a lesson to the people that can't follow simple rules, always thinking that the few rules we set don't really have to be obeyed.
I mean after all, who cares if you guys just do what you want, it's not like the few rules we do set are either for your own safety, the protection
of our/your equipment, or simply passed down from the venue. I mean, all we're trying to do is make sure that we're welcome back at
a venue again, or that your PC leave's in the same condition that it arrived, or god forbid, abiding by the OH&S rules as to not negate our PLI policy!
By not following simples rules, the whole event is put at risk. We have to balance fun and safety, as well as obeying the venue rules.
But sure, I don't mind, do what ya want! Rules schmools, like they matter anyway! I mean, the competition had an entire THREE rules!
So kids, munga's lesson is pretty shit, let THIS be the lesson you take from this, there are rules in society for a reason, if you abide by them,
you'll always come out on top! Also, don't do drugs!

Theres a BBQ area is just past the tuckshop...I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you used that for breaky, much more spacious than at the uni. OH oH!!! the food tech lab is next to the dining area! you could heat up food or blow whatever you like up!
