DVD burning troubles

i got myself a DL LG 16x DVD burner today
and i was burning away as you do
and when the burning was done the dvd wouldnt fkn read
i am using + dvds and other dvds work in the drive
i am also using nero express or sorts

any suggestions

after the short msn convo..

iso's work
others don't
you use alcahol for iso's
you use nero for other's

can you see a relation... because I see 2

1.. nero may not have installed properly, or may be making errors.. reinstall/update
2.. one requires user intervention to make the disk, one doesn't.. format. :P

anyway, try reinstalling.upadating and see what happens
try another burning program (even that crapy one in windows if it works at all (never tried))
if ya still having issues after trying that and the other things I mentioned.. talk again.
