Warning about CoolPC

I'd just like to bitch about that turd of a computer store, CoolPC.cum.onyou - they are officially the worst shop to deal with after they have your money. I'd bought a power supply off them, which blew at the last LANX (crippling me and forcing me to run off a 300w with one hard drive so I could get more than 1 FPS in games :)).

Anyway, I tell them, they say 'send it back and we'll send a replacement!' - And two fucking months after they receive it, and about 10 emails, I finally get it back yesterday. It was only after the last email that they tell me their supplier won't RMA it for me. Nice to be in the loop, eh?

Do me a favour and never deal with these cock suckers ever again. They don't look after me? I don't look after them. Pccasegear is better.

ive dealt with coolpc.com.au for a few years now, been great.... and i stand by them.

They have gave me all my products with gusto and replaced a fucked Water Block without asking how it came to be fucked.

Each to there own none the less, i hate pccasegear cause they fucked me over with a poorly lapped waterblock and wouldent take the shit pile back :P

Yeah thats a bit dodgy not telling you whats going on, though i'd be more pissed off at the supplier than coolpc. wtf won't they RMA it? sounds very dodgy to me.

Coolpc ARE a joke. about 4 months ago i ordered parts for a new computer from various computer stores. ONE of those parts was a PSU (antec truepower II) from "coolPC". It took 3 MONTHS and a load of bull shoit emails to finaly get them to send my PSU down. but i did finaly get it =)

hmm, I dealt with coolpc twice in the past..

first order went fine..

second order
ordered monday: they sent the wrong item,
received wednesday
I sent it back the next day.. (thrusday)
friday I had the correct item.. they payed for return shipping.


this was about 2 years ago, but that service was to me quite excellent.
they must have changed owners or managers or something!

man i remember the first thing i bought from them way back when late 2001 i think? anyway very first window mod done to an ol P3 800 and 80mm fan duct,,, well since then i must have racked up $1000's worth of well spent dosh... occasionally they could throw in the odd fuck up, but i have never been on the recieveing end of shit products through those guys... i have my entire current system running on almost sole products from their range everything from CPU, to PSU, to Vid card now hehehe... :woot

BUT I will tell you I have never had any luck with ScorpTech, there terrible as far as reliable service goes... It took 3 weeks to get a stinkin HSF from them... and $20 on postage later... fuck them... :gs

if I want something quick.. and scorp has it in stock.. i don;t even consider anywhere else, cos I can garentee it will be on my door the next day, and they have NEVER failed.. out of probably 100's of orders.

This isn't the first issue... When I ordered my case off them, they sent me a different model (with a note apologising about them being out of stock and they hoped this was okay)... Shouldn't they ring me before doing that? They're just lucky I like the case!
