In case you don't know, CraigsList is an online personals-ad board for places in the US, running all sorts of categories for ads, including a category called "missed connections" where lonely nerds pine away for some pretty woman they saw on the street when they were walking to the comic book shop.

Of course, where there are ads and people, there's fun to be had. People get creative. Craig (the dude who runs CraigsList...) maintains a list of the funniest postings to be seen there.

A couple of my favorites:
Open letter to all Honda owners. (http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/por/80077215.html)
...why do you want to race me? My Jeep has less than 200 horsepower and the aerodynamics of a barn.
RAVE! Sleeping with roommates (http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/sea/82697847.html)
Which illustrates the really key core excellence of Sleeping With Your Roommate: ambiguity. You can, to a remarkable extent, see exactly what you want in this inkblot. Roommate with benefits? Non-platonic friend? Fuckbuddy? Girlfriend/boyfriend? Live-in partner? It's all there.
STOP fake jogging around my block just to bump into me (http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/wdc/90536284.html)
To the fat, sweaty man with the curl in his hair and the impossible dream in his probably hypertrophied heart:
To the sleeping NAKED GIRL in the apartment across the street (http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/nyc/88915427.html)
Dear beautiful naked girl -
I thought you'd want to know: There are other people in this town.
This stuff is utterly awesome. Maybe it's just me though, I've got enough time on my hands to read through all this shit. Good way to waste time if you're bored anyway. Tell me what you think.

Reminds me of Maddox... Before he got boring. Well, at least that Honda-Jeep rant.

Okay, after reading the rest of the site, I've concluded it's nothing like Maddox. Heh.
