Hear Hear COD:UO CTF was awesome last time (expand the 5v5 higher depending on numbers?) and dawn of war 2v2 sounds awesome but i cant vote twice now can i?? Suggest posting the versions we'll we using with the games.

teams will change depending on the numbers.
if we get heaps of ppl (god forbid) teams will be bigger.

i dont want 2 teams of a million, and i dont want 10 teams of 4.

i want around 8 teams max, for each comp.

Yeah the man has a fiar point - with only like 70 people booked atm, 25 of which wont bother to get themselves into a comp, teams of ten look a little unrealistic. teams of 8 maybe.

Right so there is one of the games, being decided but what about an RTS did we decide if we are doing one?

was looking around, heard were looking for one that can limit time, although it's kind of old RON, multiplayer can limit time from anything as small as 15 mins - 2 hours.

An average versus-computer match for me takes 2 hours if I don't rush, and a 2v2 takes me 8 hours.

it does. its far more complex than it should be. it requires time to work out just how everything works.

I prefer games that are pretty much just click and shoot. none of this commander bullshit.

BF2 IS click and shoot, it only ISN'T click and shoot if you're one of the retards who absolutely HAS to be commander, just so you get artillery for when you're in trouble.

no need to vote on a game thats already confirmed.

Q3 5v5 CTF space map will ALWAYS be on sunday.
its just starting to get good, i mean, having comp in the form of team huge wangs.
its great!! we want the skill level for all to keep going up so we have some awesome tight games.

COD:UO CTF over HQ or TDM> they're timed better and more strategic. Love it. Love it all night
BF2 is a MUST sheerly for the pwned commander and squads functions - gotta bo organised.
SWAT4 - although slow and sometimes (all too often) frustrating, great team game.

Dow would be in there but with paytches and imbalances, and without the expansion, its just not cutting it, and UT is just to n00b friendly.

my thoughts :P

CTF is good... on stanjel.. the map we all know and love... or hate.. whatever, my point is that custom maps lead to pwnage by fags that know secret ways to the flag and/or big fucking teams vs. the 4-5 people on my team that bother showing up.... we almost won.... TDM kinda equalizes the numbers apart from the odd 3 to 1 gun fights.... but CTF is all about numbers and pouring noobs on the flag suicidally.... its just not cool to get owned due to numbers

Yeah, aphotic you've got it all wrong.

The AoU team had 3 specified defenders which i think fired 1 clip each for the whole game but otherwise had trhe most boiring half hour of thier lives. it wasa move up and advance and secure tactic. Me and lee wouls shoot at them, forest and random would run past us, they'd shoot, me and lee would run up, etc.

none of this n00b kamekaze shit. it's just like tdm except it dictates where the fights will be.

and the best ctfs are where there is only 1 capture :P

I think this was already brought up before, but when we have comps running and people get knocked out and shit or for those who aren't in them could we get some other games happening?

the games are run on a 30 min schedule.

for eg:

12:00 - Server starts, players have 5 mins to be in the game before it starts.
12:05 - Game starts regardless of numbers.
12:25 - Game finishes (or earlier if limit reached) - have a break.
12:30 - Start it all again.

it works if the servers are fine and people don't whing about not having a team.
there more than likely not be servers running when comps are on.
due to the fact that they will be in use.
you are welcome to play games on your own servers.
