well, ive finally sold the navara i was driving around, and just bought a sexy new black VL calais. I put a deposit down this arvo, and will be picking it up on saturday.
heres an old pic of it for yas, as said previously, its sexy and stuff... (didnt come with the VT SS wheels)
i'll get more pics up on the weekend...

man, vl's are just as common as wrx..
even the common skyline is less common and more awsome
(just had to level playing field)
the vl is the only time holden did somethign right in a car (first (and last?) good looking body, and first(and last?) time they got the motor right, got nissan to make one for them)
why not be proud of owning the 1 unique model of the commodore?

yes there are heaps of VLs - but not well presented ones
skylines are not really that common, but have to much hype about them, i really feel that the 'line is just overrated for what it is (barring the top end)
And nissan didnt make it for the VL - holden just ran out of time to make a good S6, so they borrowed the awsome RB from nissan.
The new Alloytecs will become a very big market soon once they are seeded down to the younger drivers, and the LS1 is the best motor option holden have made ever.
not sure it will be the last, but easily the best :D

acutally the RB (series of engins) are still used today as you can find them in all late model skylines!!
sure they dont share the same capasity or heads, the the bottom end really hasent changed much!
on another note the vl was a damm good car for the time and killed ford like no tommorrow when it appeared on the steets,,,, more often enough the turbo was what holden did right!!! it was light and can be made more powerfull then their v8 companions.

4 things...
1. subarus are ugly
2. skylines are ugly, but have a fucking awesome driveline (RB26dett being one of the best engines ever)
3. the LS1 is a chev motor, and the LS2s are better anyway...
4. subarus are really fucking ugly

na its a nice VL with those mags you will have to get some... but as you know VL's are teh biggest target for theft... so a stage 2 alarm/immobiser would be your first point of call. DONT get NEONS! its an australian car, dont rice it, also you get police attention with neons, and dont low it to the max also you will get police attention... but the alarm would be first

hahaha, i wouldnt worry mate. i hate neons and rice as much as the next guy.
lowering it will depend on the wheels i get, but i probably wont lower it much more.
i actually have a list of to do stuff for it, a good alarm is #1 on the list.
err.. yeh, the RB30E was in the r31
the RB30ET was a holden VL only..
of course rb series are still going.. i must word shit better..
btw..
Milk comes in 3 liters aswell.
