The demo's feature set included a 12-minute time limit on rounds and excluded access to the weapon unlocks.

And:


Open up the file gpm_cq.py with notepad, it's under Battlefield 2 Standalone Demo Server\mods\bf2\python\ga me\gamemodes

Locate the line

host.registerHandler('Tim eLimitReached', onTimeLimitReached, 1)

Place a # in front of it so it appears like

#host.registerHandler('Ti meLimitReached', onTimeLimitReached, 1)

This will make the 12 min timer still appear but once it hits 0:00 the clock will disappear and you will be able to play until the tickets expire.

Not to mention:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 Demo\python\bf2\stats open the unlocks py file with notepad about 12 linnes down you will see:


def onPlayerConnect(player):

defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]
host.pers_plrSetUnlocks(p layer.index, defaultUnlocks, defaultUnlocks)

Change the 0s to 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and there ya go


The engine seems as flexible as Far Cry (I gave my P90 a 20x zoom :D), even though I haven't played with BF2 yet.

It's a lovely game :) HL1 spawned counterstrike, not HL2 ;) So I decided to give it a go, tis quite lovely.

I just love the amount of exploits you can do - grav gun jumping, launch grenades with the grav gun, and you can run damn fast by bunny hopping. Sad that it's a cunt to get working on a network, huh.

some weapons are avalible in the Demo but are locked by default so you cant use them EG. the engineer has a big grenade laucher. If you tinker abit you get access to them ;)

omg..... we MUST have cod.... its the mainstay of the lans for me anyway.... BF2 is pretty awesome..... and runs on my shitheap.... Swats kinda gettin old for me.... and for fucks sake will you bastards let Q3 die??!! just let it go... its over.... anyway if we can get everyone playing BF2 it will be sweet, the demo is nuts online and has sweeet pings.... and yes its a remake of desert combat but its an awesome one, claymores = free kills
