Yeah, I was thinking 18MB was a tad too small - then it says it's going to take 12 hours to download the rest o' the shit. I check NetLimiter, and it's going 15KB/s. Sony have crap servers.

Again i say that Everquest takes too long to level up. World of Warcraft is much better, you can level to 60 in no time at all and once you get to the max level there's no real endgame content to keep you playing. Play to level 60 on your first subscription, get bored, quit and return to life, easy. No nasty permanant scars like Everquest. Cheaper too....

IF you could ever figure the fucking thing out! For fucks sake... I just spent around an hour trying to even SEE in its "lets be cool and have everything REALLY dark" "atmosphere", and ended up wandering into a field with monsters who had >500hp (from watching other people defeat them). It's beyond me what I'm supposed to kill if I only do 1-1 damage.

The "talk" button isn't even T. It's actually beyond me how to talk in this game.

I spent around 30 minutes watching people kill monsters, and trying to figure out how I was going to kill them, and figuring out how to ask for help, when along comes some random (NOT an NPC) who just caps me (good job, you killed a weaponless armorless clueless noob).

I'll be fucked if I can be bothered playing a game which is PvP by default without giving you options otherwise, and which doesn't even EXPLAIN to you how to start playing, the only tutorial I could find being for "how to move"... which is at least 100 metres from where you spawn. Sort of a useless fucking tutorial.
