if there isn't i think i'll go to monsterlan instead..

shafted 32 is busting out with $5000 worth of prizes. :D

(april 9/10 i think, if anyone is interested)

edit: my fucking keyboard is fucking with my head! im usingon-screen keyboard at the moment...

as i was about to say... because lanx is non-profit, the only prizes given out are from the sponsers. othrwise it would come from the admins own pockets.

plus, shfted is still playing CS....

!!! enough of this fucking on-screen keyboard shit, its pissing me off!

They're also a huge 500 person LAN with money coming out the pooper - in Melbourne, where there are a lot more companies to ask for donations.

Anyone who goes to LANs for prizes is nothing but a prostitute.

Well fuck off then :) MonsterLAN have no costs because they get their venue for free and buy their prizes. We rely on sponsorship for prizes, and with the amount we pay for our venue along with other costs we're lucky to break even. We are currently looking for a new venue to move to, it's simple, bigger lan = more prizes. So if all you care about is prizes, fuck off to monsterlan, or worse, shafted :)

Seriously, if we were raking in $10k a LAN like some unnamed LAN, I think we'd be handing out a couple of prizes like a mofuka, but we live in a place called Ballarat, and also a place called reality...
