after LANX13 it seems you guys want more muck around comps, ie non pc comps.
so!! what are you guys after, joshu suggested laser force, which is the reason i am posting this.
but what would you like to see??
-gameshows.
-laser force.
-cd chucking.
post some ideas so we can get em going for X14.

A CD 5-minute sculpture competition.
Give everyone a lighter or a mini-blowtorch and as many CDs as they care for, and they get 5 minutes to create a work of art. Points scored are based on relevance, beauty and humor factor. Teams of two are allowed.

Come to think of it the last time I played q3 in the lan was great :), the shear aww of red covering the screen was worth my while :D
As for pass the parcel, it can work just put some funky shit in with some wicked music and everyone's set :)
Another interesting idea would be to have groups of say 5 passing objects in a circle to their respective team member. The group with the most objects successfully passed and not dropped win. And there's always marshmellows and dried sticks of pasta and with those set number of items try to make the tallest and most stable tower. :D
