Good point, but what about weather? Nobody likes a wet oval. I think it would be a better idea to use the already-urban terrain of the Uni.

as kenny said, the insurance gorilla would be too big to tickle away with fancy words and assurances of safety

i guess there is really nothing stopping a group of people hiring the gear themselves, and running around the campus...that being said i do think it would be either too risky in terms of insurance or too hard to setup

then play headquarters: 45sec/1minute round, one life per round, one team defends, on team attacks. if you die, you walk back to your starting area and you can "respawn" after the round is over. because the respawn time is longish, you don't have to hurry the deadies back. if the attackers touch the radio/golden mouse then they defend untill the other team tags it.

Anyways about the lasertag thingy, I don't think its a good idea for LanX, maybe as a seperate event at laserforce? I know its cheap on mondays, something like $14 for 5 hours play. Shouldn't have to worry about the PLI thing then (good thing too, I ran straight into a knee high box in there, blood all over my leg :D)

But if its there at LanX, then I'd prolly suit up and shoot up (in a non drug and non guns way) :)

Yeah mate, what me and spot really wanna do, is have a viclan paintball weekend, get like 10 people from each lan, fuck off over the border for a weekend, and go nuts ;) Would be the best weekend ever. The boys at TNW do it a couple of times a year, would be fucking great ;) Weekend of shooting each other in the bollocks, having a huge piss up afterwards... gold :)
