game modes will be decided by what mode best suits each game without overlapping with other games.
eg: there will be no SOF2:CTF, Q3:CTF and COD CTF.

becasue the system works on points, u get points by doing objectives and shit, hence someone that only does a flag run gets lots of points.

And in the mean time the person in the tank will rack up 4-5 EASY kills in a medium sized game... not everyone has a bazooka/panzer/satchel at the ready.

Remmember our 1 on 1? Me in tank, you.... not in tank. You got pwned, and not because I'm better at CoD, you are way better, just because tanks are cheap ESPECIALLY in DeathMatches. You're not gunna last long rolling around in a tank, but you'll rack up a penis load of kills in the short time you're in it.

cmon, i wasnt being harsh... *tear* alls im saying is it makes for better objectival gameplay in the gametypes such as domination and ctf etc... so you get advantages by doing stuff to keep the game flowing, and not just a dm with another name. i do, however, like playing dm and tdm in vanilla. keeps the gewher out of it. I agree with Nick, the score system is good... it's far lees linear instead of the "Yay! I can run around with a Submachine Gun using 3 clips a minute! I must be awesome at the game!"it adds more statergy, and make's people go for the "tactical kill" instead of the easy or the mass kill.

****Note: I still rape up the easy and mass kills when I can... I just don't go around looking for them anymore :D****

a good example of map control was last X nate came to and i forget the map.
but the RL is out on a lil platform so nate jus hovered around it and when foos came to get the RL they got more RL that they bargained for.

UT2K4 got very old, fast. I really didn't enjoy it how heat seeking missiles would give tossers with no skill an edge in taking out someone in flying vehicle. Sure, I know you're meant to shoot those missiles out of the sky, but when you're trying to bump off two pricks at once, it's not exactly easy :).
