I just watched that first episode

With some changes it could be pretty good, I don't really like the alien at all though.

If it's going to rely on 'war on terror' type jokes and the conflict between liberals and conservatives it could get old pretty quick.

It kinda begs comparison with Family Guy, making it look worse than it really is.

Some characters seem a bit recycled.

As with Team America, but that was still pretty good. The characters aren't as likeable in my opinion, and is very similar to Family Guy in most aspects, but it'll fill the void until the new season of Family Guy arrives.

Anyway, I got a few laughs.

Family guy = Simpsons beater. This is probably the only cartoon i found funnier than the simpsons. dunno bout american dad tho it kinda seemed to be ripping on family guy too much but the episode i watched wasnt bad
