Yes dude, we know how to run a LAN.
We're commited to it and are VERY willing to work our arses off to make this the best it can possibley be, both financially and labour wise. Everything is going smoothly thus far and we have full confidence that it will run smoothly on the day.

Please Blueshadow, if you don't like the sound of YummyLAN, keep it to yourself because it will only discourage other LANers from comming to what could very well be a very awesome LAN.

I registerd and i looked at how many ppl were booked...... 8.

I dont think it will ever compare to an X..... EVER! And ive opted to stay @ home and finish backing up data and re-ghost my PC in preperation for the next X :D

Because alot of you are unhappy about the price we have decided that we are lowering the price to $20 now this will probibly end up with us out of pocket but just because we love the people we are going to lower prices.
I would also like to say that we are doing this out of good will. We Are a non profit organisation and do it for everyone.
BlueShadow in regards to your comment about us comparing ourselves to lanx. We are doing things different to lanx and most other lans. And we know how to run a lan Myself i have been doing it for over 2 years. And we have no reason to compare to lanx its a great lan and ive been going since lanx 5. Actually (not having a go once again) the things I quoted you from were posted BEFORE Nick had a go at you. While Nick was a tool to bite at you, he's just passionate about LANing and making Yummy the best it can be :)... he may have been working against us by detering you from Yummy altogether, but everyone slips up from time to time. I know I have many a time (many a time IN THIS THREAD actually :P)
In real life when he's not jousting behind his keyboard, he's just a big pussycat. He's all bark, don't worry.

And Raddass, it's true we will most probally up our prices back to 25 once we're sure we can without losing YummyLAN goers.
Personally though, I'm happy to lose money if it means YummyLAN will be better... I honestly don't give a shit about money (even though I work my arse of for it... :S go figure). I have a feeling if this first YummyLAN doesn't get a decent turnout, it's unlikely it ever will.

So yeah, rest assured we'll pour everything we have into this LAN, money, labour, prostitution (we've gotta get the money from somewhere)...
